Spring Campout

ACA – Lake Geneva

 

April 29th – May 1st , 2005
 

The ACA – Lake Geneva Campsite is located in Leesburg, Florida.  This is a “cabin” campout compete with air-conditioning and indoor plumbing.  The cabins are dormitory style with the dads usually on one side and girls on the other.  The facility has an indoor auditorium and gymnasium, dining hall, outdoor amphitheater, swimming pool, lake and many other amenities.

 

There will be the usual Coup stick competition which includes, skits, costume judging, craft and invitation judging and let’s not the forget the most popular war games.  Coup stick winner will be presented at Saturday evening’s bonfire.  If it is time for your daughter to graduate the program this campout will include the “Breaking the Arrow” ceremony. The annual Indy 500 car race competition will also take place at this campout. 

 

Backed by popular demand we will be having the Saturday evening dinner be catered by an outside BBQ caterer.

 

Meals included: Friday Dinner ,  Saturday – Breakfast, Lunch,  BBQ Dinner, Sunday – Breakfast

Dad & 1 Daughter = $175

Dad & 2 Daughters = $260

Dad & 3 Daughters = $345

 

Your payment and sign-up sheets are due by the

April 6th, 2005 Longhouse meeting. 

 

Although there’s plenty of capacity at this facility, all sign-ups are on a first come first serve basis, so please get your payment in as soon as possible.

Directions from the South:

  • Take the turnpike to the Leesburg/Clermont exit.

  • Go north (right) to Leesburg via Hwy. 27 North.

  • Travel about 15 miles through Leesburg to Fruitland Park.

  • Proceed north until you pass the Florida Highway Patrol Station on the left.

  • Look for Camp Geneva signs on the right and a Farm Store on the left as guides.

  • Turn left at the Farm Store onto Spring Lake Road Follow Spring Lake Road for 3/4 of a mile to Pete Street.

  • Take a right on Pete St. and an immediate left on to Via Marcia.

  • Continue on this road through the main gate to the Administrative Office.

  • If you go through the town of Lady Lake, you’ve gone to far
